New Hepatitis B, Haemophilus, Influenza Type B Vaccines

This new vaccine launched in 1974, as the expanded programme on immunization (EPI) was delivered vaccines against diphteria, tetanus, pertussis, polio, measless and tuberculosis (BCG). This all kind of vaccines to prevent of 2.5 milion deaths every year.

Recently have implementation of new and under-utilized vaccines providing additional prevention of untimely deaths and disabilities. These include vaccines against hepatitis B, haemophilus influenza type b, streptococcus pneumoniae, rotavirus and rubella.

Kind of vaccines that still under improvement such as vaccines against human papilloma virus (HPV) provide an opportunity to impact global cervical cancer morbidity and mortality through immunization activities in older age groups.
